Bio

Jon Lesher is a Managing Director at Buxbaum, focused on sell-side accounting diligence and CFO support for healthcare organizations preparing for a transaction.

His work centers on sell-side financial diligence, GAAP accounting, and fractional CFO leadership, helping management teams present financials that are credible, defensible, and ready for buyer scrutiny. He brings deep healthcare experience, where reporting complexity, reimbursement dynamics, and operational nuance materially affect outcomes.

Before joining Buxbaum, he spent more than 15 years as Senior Director of Finance and Controller at Ascend One Corporation, overseeing accounting, financial reporting, and FP&A for healthcare-focused subsidiaries including CareOne Services, Inc. and Nava Health and Vitality Centers. He began his career at PwC, managing audit engagements across healthcare and other regulated industries.
