Bio

Julian Behar is a Managing Director at Buxbaum, where he supports transaction advisory engagements for clients navigating acquisitions, divestitures, and complex deal situations.

His work focuses on both buy-side and sell-side financial diligence, advising owner operators, financial sponsors and strategics. He has worked on transactions ranging from $15 million to $2.5 billion, across industries including financial services, consumer products, manufacturing, healthcare, and media, in both U.S. and cross-border contexts.

Prior to joining Buxbaum, Julian spent more than 25 years in public accounting and transaction advisory, most recently as a Director in KPMG’s Transaction Services practice, where he supported private equity and corporate clients through diligence and post-transaction integration.
