Bio

Luke is a Senior Associate at Buxbaum, where he advises clients on complex M&A transactions and accounting advisory matters.

With more than seven years of experience in large public accounting environments, Luke has worked with Fortune 100 and other large, publicly traded organizations, as well as high-growth companies scaling their operations and financial infrastructure. He has served in both audit and consulting capacities, leading workstreams and supervising teams while partnering closely with client executives and finance leadership.

Luke’s expertise includes technical accounting research and implementation, revenue recognition under ASC 606, transaction-related accounting, and audit readiness. He has supported both buy-side and sell-side due diligence processes, assisted companies in preparing for and executing strategic transactions, and strengthened financial reporting frameworks to meet the demands of growth and regulatory scrutiny.

In addition to transaction advisory work, Luke has enhanced month-end close processes, remediated accounting issues, supported investment analysis, and improved internal controls and operational efficiencies. He is known for his ability to translate complex accounting guidance into practical business solutions, providing strategic insight that supports informed decision-making at the executive level.
