Megan Melkonian

Bio

Megan Melkonian is the Chief of Staff of Buxbaum, where she oversees all administrative and back-office operations. As the firm’s first employee, she has been with Buxbaum since its founding in 2009 and serves as the central point of contact for employees, clients, and the firm’s network of advisors and referral partners. Her responsibilities span bookkeeping and financial operations, business communications, human resources support, and virtually anything that keeps the firm running smoothly behind the scenes.

Megan’s approach is hands-on and pragmatic. Over her time with the firm, she has built her expertise by tackling whatever challenges arise – whether that’s managing accounts payable and receivable, drafting communications for the leadership team, coordinating administrative processes, or solving the inevitable operational puzzles that come with running a boutique advisory firm. She brings a generalist’s versatility and a problem-solver’s mindset to every aspect of the firm’s operations.

Prior to joining Buxbaum, Megan worked in administration at Tatum, LLC and the University of Georgia.
